  12. Trajan in Quadriga


Trajan was first depicted in a slow quadriga in a strike of 98-99ad. The sestertii struck between 103-11ad show him in a triumphal quadriga left. Trajan holds eagle tipped sceptre and brach, horses have legs raised and the cart is decorated with images of victory.
