Architectural types 12. Temple of Venus Genetrix This coin type is commonly referred to as the temple of Venus Genetrix which Trajan restored . It is also been proposed that it could be the temple of Jupiter.
This reverse depicts an octastyle temple with statue between columns, statues on roof, and side porticos.. Some varieties of this coin have an altar or podium in front of the temple.
