Gods, Goddesses, and Personifications   9. Pax Pax is the Goddess of Peace, whose altar could not be stained with blood. She is a common theme on many Roman issues. Other Pax types may be found under the Dacian war section. Pax is depicted seated holding olive branch and sceptre.
