This coin is unlisted in RIC and BMCRE. BMCRE does note on page 205 that an example of this type exists in the museum in Naples. The example pictured above is the second known example of this type recorded.


Though called common by RIC, this reverse type is actually rare in all cases. Very few known examples and rarely appears for sale.
